Webinar on “Mental wellness and social Implications” come out successful!

The webinar on 1st July, 2020 on “”Mental wellness and social Implications”-19” under the webinar series: Building Digital Resilience to Support COVID-19 Pandemic Response and Recovery come out very successful.

In this extraordinary crisis and demand for isolation, social norms are being tested to the extreme. Domestic violence, substance abuse, child exploitation, internet
addiction, mental distress and suicide have all accelerated. In the session the participants discussed on how can we better protect the vulnerable, provide support and proactively mitigate risks and threats. The session was moderated by Institute of Electrical and Electronics (IEEE) and the participants were from: Bangladesh, Republic of Korea, UN Women and UNESCAP. This session engaged the participants to interact with the speakers and other participants
to share their experiences, views, concerns and ideas for potential projects.
