Please join us for a webinar on “Health and Socio-Economic Impact of COVID19 – Challenges and Opportunities for NGOs and CSOs in the Global South”, co-organized by UNOSSC and the Alliance of NGOs and CSOs for South-South Cooperation (ANCSSC) to be held on 20 October 2020. The webinar will explore possible solutions and practical ways that NGOs and CSOs can use tackle the COVID-19 situation and how we can move forward from a health and socio-economic perspective.
Objective
The objective of the event is to: i) Promote the role of CSOs and NGOs in achievement of SDGs and in addressing health and socio-economic aspects of the COVID-19 through South-South and triangular cooperation; ii) highlight the work of the ANCSSC members in coping with the COVID-19 pandemic; iii) discuss challenges faced by NGOs; iv) inform policy considerations and provide recommendations on mechanisms, solutions to strengthen CSO/ NGO role in achievement of SDGs through South-South and triangular cooperation; and v) Launch of the ANCSSC App. Read more here.
