Bangladesh extends support to Colombia
A deep tie has been developed between UNDP Bangladesh’s Aspire to Innovate Programme (a2i) and UNDP Colombia to replicate the ekShop platform in Colombia, which helps displaced people or underprivileged people to channel products in the eCommerce supply chain by providing access to the digital market along with assisting the SMEs to sell products in the global market. As Colombia is hosting a massive number of refugees from Venezuela due to the deteriorating economic conditions, ekShop offers the services to provide the marketplace where potential refugees can get access to the jobs demanded from different parts of the world. UNDP Bangladesh, UNDP Colombia, and UNDP- Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery, New York are alleviating the process of replicating Colombia’s system.
