Webinar on Digital Livelihood Opportunities
A webinar titled “Digital Livelihood Opportunities” was held on 17th December 2020 at 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM (BST) on Zoom Platform. The event was organized by: Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme, UNDP Chief Digital Office & UNDP Crisis Bureau, New York. The event kicked off with the welcome address of Mr. Ashekur Rahman, Assistant Resident Representative, UNDP Bangladesh. At the next level Mr. Asad-Uz-Zaman, Lead, Future of Work Lab, Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme has offered a presentation on National Intelligence for Skills, Employment and Entrepreneurship (NISE2) Platform and Mr. Rezwanul Haque Jami, Team Lead, Rural eCommerce, Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme on Ekshop e-Commerce Platform. The presentation session was followed by an Experience Sharing session, facilitated by Mr. Luca Renda, Head, Recovery Solutions and Human Mobility Team – UNDP Crisis Bureau in which Mr. Claudio Tomasi, Resident Representative, UNDP Turkey and Ms. Oluwaseyi Ladejobi, Head Employability and Lagos Innovates, Lagos States Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), Nigeria have shared their experiences replicating a2i initiative in their context. Later on an Open Discussion (Q/A) facilitated by Mr. Anir Chowdhury, Policy Advisor, Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme & Mr. Robert Opp, Chief Digital Officer (CDO), UNDP Chief Digital Office, New York was held where the participants expresses their ideas and gave inputs on replicating various initiative form one stakeholder to others. The interactive webinar was finished with the closing remark of Mr. Sudipto Mukerjee, Resident Representative, UNDP Bangladesh & Mr. Robert Opp, Chief Digital Officer (CDO), UNDP Chief Digital Office, New York.
